Resort: Beaulieu, built on the banks of the Dordogne, is famous thanks to it's Roman church and old Benedictine monastery old, picturesque city with 1'347 inhabitants, 80 km from Sarlat. All shops, restaurants etc. in the resort. Concerts, museum, attractions. Access: railway station "Bretennoux-Biars" 6 km. Bus service. Brive 43 km. Rocamadour 40 km. For arrivals by plane: airport PTrigueux (PGX) 114 km, Bordeaux (BOD) 250 km, Brive-la-Gaillarde (BVE) 43 km. The geological sight of "Le Gouffre de Padirac" as wells as the medieval town of Rocamadour are worth a visit. The town is made up of a labyrinth of narrow alleys with old stone walls.
