The Breitenbrunn relaxation area is situated in the Oberplatz region, in the Wissinger Laber, in the middle of the largest nature park in Germany, the Altmuhltal. The symbol of the area is the pilgrim church situated on the rocky cliff of Saint Sebastian with the hot water springs. Where the three valleys meet, Breitenbrunn is a cross country skiing paradise, the wild rose garden, the Waldlehrpfad, the valley path as well as the Wasserbuffelweg. The ruined Breitenegg castle known as the Breitenbrunn. At the end of the 16th century it had 5 doors, of which the door to the castle is still retained today.
