Resort: The Thyria stream winds along several small village such as Thy le Chateau or Thy le Bauduin. A few kilometres away, Walcourt is a high resort dominating a large square lined with Patrician houses and houses with grey slate roofs. You can also visit the churches of Saint Pierre and Paul, the shrine of Saint Pierre dates from 17th century.
Resort in Summer: 10-20 km away, the complex of Eau d'Heure reunites the largest lakes in Belgium. The dam installations of Plate Taille (tower of 107 m, turbine and electric central room) are captivating. There, you can see some lovely aquariums and an audio-visual film on the construction of the complex. Boat excursions along the lake from Easter to end September. Sailing, kayaking, windsurfing, water skiing, diving, cycling. More than 100 km of marked walking trails. Falemprise attraction centre open from Easter to end September (beach, play ground, pedalos, tennis, mini train).
