Down a private lane on the Leeward Coast of Oahu, is the perfect house, situated directly on the ocean. It is designed to accommodate families, or a group of friends who want to experience a memorable event together. Away from the activity and frenzy of the city you will enjoy listening to the rhythmic, soothing, sounds of the Pacific Ocean. Swaying palm trees whisper evening song, a lullaby for a different way of knowing and living. Step out of your back door and the ocean is literally at your feet. Welcome to the gracious, yet relaxed lifestyle at “Ka Hale Kai”. Inside “Ka Hale Kai” you’ll find a spacious open floor plan, that lends itself to a comfortable atmosphere, designed to make your stay more enjoyable. The house is tastefully decorated in a Pacific Rim décor, that upon entering, enhances a carefree tropical environment.
Some of the featured amenities include: Wi-Fi High Speed Internet access, digital phone service with free long distance calling, AM/FM Stereo/CD players, and three televisions with DVD players. To make your stay more comfortable, there are A/C units in select areas of the house with additional ceiling fans in almost every room. An endless assortment of activities awaits your pleasure at “Ka Hale Kai”. Some examples are: swimming, surfing, fishing, boogie boarding, jogging, or seashell collecting! The waves here on the Southwest shores are mild to moderate, and are excellent for beginners learning to surf. Strolling along our beach is an adventure not to be missed, the night views of Waikiki and Diamond Head are spectacular. You might even get lucky enough to see a sleepy monk seal sunning itself on the sand. They are a protected species, but do not mind having their picture taken from a respectful distance (please do not ask them for autographs). The immediate outdoor area is fully fenced- in, and features a patio with a dining table that seats six. The back yard also contains a large shade tree, a second outdoor dining table, and an ample selection of lawn furniture. There are two gas Barbecue grills on location for your use. There are: masks, snorkels, fins, boogie boards, a surfboard, and a large selection of beach toys for your children’s ocean adventures! A short distance from your rental is a series of shopping centers featuring: drug and grocery stores, movie rentals, laundry and dry cleaning services, and a multitude of local and ethnic restaurants for your dining choices. Also nearby are several golf courses, tennis courts, and local parks. A short commute away from your location, are more scenic attractions for your viewing, shopping, and dining pleasure. For example, the 16-Plex movie theatre in nearby Kapolei, the Waikele Outlet Shopping Center, and the Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park.
Of course no visit would be complete without seeing the Pearl Harbor area containing the USS Arizona Memorial, the USS Bowfin submarine, and the historic USS Missouri. Also, within walking distance from these attractions is the famous Aloha Stadium Swap Meet.
