You absolutely can not get any closer to Pico Mountain than at Pico Condominiums. A couple of suggestions: 1) I stayed in the D building so if you want a mountain view choose an even numbered room, 2) if you have kids the D building is great since the daycare center is located on the first floor, 3) there shouldn't be an extra charge to use the rec facilities (come on $15/day to use the hot tub), 4)just a bit out dated (say 1990's) but I was there to ski not watch TV, lol.Otherwise a great place to stay, friendly staff, and easy to get to. The management company made it very easy to pick up keys after hours (I arrived at 3am) and considering it was Presidents Day weekend people respectd noise levels the hallways were very quiet.
