Superb location on the edge of the historic village of Montpeyroux in the heart of one of the finest wine growing regions, close to Clermont l'Herault and St Guilhem le Desert.
The one bedroom gite adjoins a typical Mediterranean style villa. It is self-contained with its own entrance and is available on a self-catering basis to non-smokers.
The owners are a hospitable retired English couple who are there if you need them.
With regret - no children or pets.

Swimming Pool - full shared use with owners of 11m x 6m kidney shaped pool.
Electric Heating in all rooms.

VILLAGE
A Place In The Vines is located an easy 5 minute walk from the centre of the historic village of Montpeyroux.
Overlooked by the floodlit ruins of Le Castellas, Montpeyroux has a baker, butcher, general store, hairdresser, tabac, post office, bar and bistro.
There is a small village market on Thursday and Sunday mornings.
For wine lovers, there is a Wine Co-operative and 18 independent vignerons who produce some of the finest wines.
Only a few minutes drive away there is the Herault Gorge with a small beach for swimming, Grotte de Clamouse, and the world heritage site of St Guilhem le Desert.
The market towns of Clermont l'Herault and Gignac have Supermarkets and are only a 10 minute drive.
REGION
Montpeyroux is located at the foot of the Masif Central in the Herault, in a region that is rich in history, culture and magnificent scenery.
The historic and vibrant capital city of Montpellier, with its fine contrast of classic and ultra modern architecture, theatres and museums, is an easy 35 minute drive away.
The Mediterranean Sea, with its miles of beautiful sandy beaches, can be reached in only 40 minutes.
There are masses of excellent restaurants behind the beaches, and beside the Etang du Thau at Bouzigues, Meze and Marseillan Port, that specialise in freshly-caught sea food dishes.
The region is a paradise for artists and ramblers.

Airlines include BMI Baby, Easyjet, FlyBE, Jet2 & Ryanair from a variety of UK airports. Inter-Continental Flights to Barcelona, Bruxelles, Geneve, London & Paris
By Road:
Typically Driving Times: Le havre (8h15), Dieppe (8h25), Ouistreham/Caen (8h35), St Malo (8h45), Boulogne (9h00), Calais (9h20), Cherbourg (9h50), Roscoff (10h35) via A71 to Clermont Ferrand and then the spectacular A75 over the Masif Central and Le Viaduc de Millau.
By Train:
Typically Times to Montpellier Gare St Roch: Paris CDG (3h30), Geneve (3h45), Bruxelles (5h45) and London St Pancras (7h00 by Eurostar and TGV with an easy platform change at Lille Europe.
