In the heart of the ‘Jordaan’, opposite the narrowest house in the world, you find this beautifully renovated corner house. The comfortable studio is situated on the first floor and offers an amazing view over one of the most beautiful canals of Amsterdam, the ‘Herengracht’. The apartment is situated in one of the famous '9 streets'. The ‘9 streets’ district, located between the Raadhuisstraat (with the Dam Square) and the Leidsestraat, was way back known for its artisans, trade and culture. This is reflected in the many galleries, boutiques and variety of pubs, bars and restaurants that are established here nowadays . It is the right place if you are looking for vintage and second-hand clothing, cooking utensils and all sorts of presents. This seventeenth century district, with its many monuments and canals is very lively and popular amongst the Dutch as well as the tourists. On walking distance of the apartment, you find amongst others the Anne Frank house, the Flower Market and the Westerkerk, which often offers exciting exhibitions. The nearest tram stop is at the Spui and takes a 1 minute walk.
The stairs in the hallway lead up to this unique studio. The large room offers on the street side a seating area with an antique cupboard, a television and a sofa bed, which can be used for an optional third guest. The desk in the study area offers a wonderful view over the canal and has an internet connection for your own laptop. In the middle of the room you find a comfortable double bed. The modern half open kitchen, with a dining table, seating four and the bathroom and toilet are situated in the back of the apartment. The bathroom facilities are simple but clean and very adequate. This beautifully located studio is perfect for couples and business people.
