Great Views!!! Nice Neighborhood & Steps From The Beach

Great location and views. You might consider putting a real door on the back bedroom instead of that folding piece of wood. Goofy as it sounds the bedroom door is not a door but a piece of an old folding closet door that doesn't really shut. I had to jam a sock in at the base of the door frame to keep the folding door from swinging out into the hall. A drawer was missing from one of the chest of drawers in my daughters room. So that looked kind of crummy. Also, it would be nice if the air conditioning would get cold. It would get slightly cool in the evening but that was it. I like to sleep in a cold room during a hot Texas summer and this house never got cold. During the day it was best to either be at the beach or go to a movie, restaurant or go shopping since the house cooling system never put out the cold air you would expect. The garage was a mess. It was filled with junk and a broken electric stove for some reason. A little TLC and this house would be great. There was a little BBQ grill on the patio we used regularly. A very nice outdoor shower on the downstairs patio area - great after spending time on the beach. We would wash off our shoes and ourselves after getting covered in sand. Kitchen was good. Cold fridge with lots of ice. Washer and dryer we used every day. Nice couches and a spacious living room. Has a great deck with unbeatable views! Too bad the owners don't love this house. The TV echo in the living room was unbearable. Throw some rugs down or something to take that echo out. High ceiling and tile floors throughout make for noisy TV watching. Proximity to beach is great! We were literally just steps away from the beach. Not beachfront, but beachfront-like views. I liked the neighborhood. It had a cool 1970s feel to it. Kind of frozen in time my wife and I thought. We walked throughout the whole neighborhood and made friends with the folks across the street who lived there year round. Our children made instant friends with their kids and had a gr
