It is set on a quiet dead end road just 200 yards off the blue ridge parkway. It is completely furnished with all linens, cooking utinsels, gas grill, etc. It is centrally located for easy access to all the most popular attractions in the mountains of north carolina. It is within an hours drive of Asheville, Hickory, Roan mountain, Grandfather mountain, Blowing rock, and numerous golf courses and ski areas. We have several gem mines in the immediate area and many hiking trails, water falls and spectacular scenery everywhere. At 3100 ft elevation the nites are cool and the days pleasant. Winters are mild with enough snow to be interesting. Wildlife is abundant The cabin is located just off the blue ridge parkway and an hour north of asheville. It is on a quiet dead end drive with easy access to shopping, dining, a super walmart and a hospital only 10 minutes away. The location is ideal for a destination or a home base from which to do day trips in the mountains. Home is new as is appliances, heat/air, etc. Owner/ manager is just up the drive and readily available for problems, information or whatever.
