“The Villa” provides a luxurious, peaceful and secure environment in which to relax and enjoy everything that Tropical North Queensland has to offer, for a week, for a month or for all of winter.
Unlike most accommodations in Port Douglas that are designed for short “go touring and dine out” stays, “The Villa” is fully set up to ensure your total comfort and enjoyment for an extended stay. Just because you’re on holidays or escaping winter for an extended period, you don’t need to go without all the space and luxuries you are used to at home.
One of only 13 villas in a very private, secure and spacious property set on over 2.5 acres of lush tropical gardens, “The Villa” is just a short walk from the famous Four Mile Beach and less than 5 minutes drive (or local bus) from the village centre. Also close by are 2 championship golf courses, “The Habitat” wildlife sanctuary and a supermarket / shopping complex.
With 320 sq metres of private indoor and outdoor living areas, “The Villa” is one of the largest villas in Port Douglas, providing unparalleled luxury and privacy.
It has 3 large bedrooms, all with private en-suite bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen and a large indoor lounge, dining and entertaining area. The lounge opens onto a private covered courtyard with a bbq, a separate dining and entertaining area and a fantastic 6 person spa set amongst lush tropical gardens.
“The Villa” comes fully furnished with quality furniture, fittings and fixtures throughout. These include a 108cm (42”) plasma TV, 3 x 51cm TVs (one in each bedroom), a DVD recorder / player, a VCR and a stereo sound system and radio. Austar (pay TV) is installed and available to all TVs.
The bedrooms are disposed as a king, a queen and a double single-king (can be made up as two king singles or another king). Each has an en-suite bathroom, a walk-in wardrobe and balcony. One has its own spa bath. Quality bed linen, bath towels and pool towels are provided.
The gourmet kitchen includes gas hotplates with range-hood, electric and microwave ovens, a large 2-door refrigerator, a 2-drawer dishwasher and all appliances, cutlery, crockery and glassware. The separate laundry has a washer and a dryer and a separate powder room services the entertainment areas.
“The Villa” is fully air-conditioned (reverse cycle) with separate controls for each room. Ceiling fans and glass louvre windows with insect screens throughout allow for total control for year round comfort.
The extensive tropical common grounds are very private and include a large 25m pool (for laps or just cooling off), a tennis court (with lights for a night game), a practice putting green and a bbq / entertaining pavilion, which also includes a separate plunge pool.
The property is fully fenced with remote controlled security gates. There is an intercom system to provide access for guests. “The Villa” has a lockup (one car) garage with remote control door and two additional parking bays. It also has a fully monitored alarm system.
