Fishing is also possible in the canal and permits are available locally. Visit the market town of Avallon and the Cathedral town of Vezalay as well as the wine producing areas of Chablis and Beaune. La Jonquiere is a beautifully restored stone cottage with a large south-facing garden, perfect for sunbathing. Barbecue and garden furniture provided.
