Resort: Historical summer holiday resort directly by the sea, 72 km south-west from Exeter, 188 km south-west from Bristol, 200 km west from Bournemouth. All shops, restaurants etc. in the resort. Access: motorway M5 Bristol - Exeter. Then road A38 Exeter - Plymouth. For arrivals by plane: airport Bristol (BRS) 180 km, London Heathrow (LHR) 350 km. An early port settlement spread in the area known today as the Barbican, Plymouth has 100 listed buildings and the largest concentration of cobbled streets in Britain.
