Resort: Well-known holiday resort with 2'000 inhabitants, on top of a hill, 10 km from Cham, 12 km from Bad K÷tzting, 50 km from Deggendorf. All shops, restaurants etc. 2 - 10 km. Access: railway station "Cham". Regensburg 76 km. Passau 111 km. For arrivals by plane: airport Mnnchen (MUC) 150 km. Zandt is located in the middle of the Upper Bavarian Forest Nature Park and is a good starting point for trips to the Bavarian Forest or the Bohemian Forest. Other excursions: Passau, the city of three rivers, the nearby Czech Republic (50 km), Lake Blaibacher (bathing, boating) 10 km, canoeing and fishing in the nearby Regen river.
Resort in Winter: Winter sports fans can pursue their passion in the whole Bavarian Forest. Lovers of cross-country skiing can enjoy themselves directly by the house or in the Bretterschachten cross-country ski centre. Alpine skiing is possible on the World Cup ski runs on the Arber mountain or in the Sankt Englmar ski centre. Sledging is possible in Zandt, on the winter toboggan runs in Bodenmais or on the Geisskopf mountain.
