Villa Fonte Gaia is located in a residential area away from the crowds in a rather secluded and private position, enjoying sea views extending as far as to the Sorrento Coast allowing you to admire the bright colors of the islands nature and its nearby coastline. A stone path leads from the entrance gate through the garden and a flight of 25 steps up to the villa.
The villa is painted in a beautiful white, both inside and out. Its bright, white sofas and chairs are tastefully accented with antique wooden furniture and parquet floors, in an open and elegant style. Villa Fonte Gaia is built on two levels and has a dependànce located on a third level below the main villa. The entire property is surrounded by a lush Mediterranean garden & a terrace facing the sea.
The main door leads into a small entrance hall opening into the living area. A living room facing the sea is divided by arched ceilings, creating, along with the dining room, two independent areas. The living room has access onto the terrace & is furnished with 4 large lounge chairs, wooden furniture & has a fireplace. The style of the dining area flows with the decor of the property, with an antique wooden wardrobe, large wooden dining table seating 8 guests and decorative pieces of silverware.
The dining area is accessible from either the kitchen, the living room, or from an external patio. The kitchen is small, but well organized with a small separate storage room & with a second wooden dining table seating 6 guests. The kitchen is fully equipped. There is an outdoor laundry corner with sink & washing machine. This private little terrace provides a quiet area for the housekeeper to do her work. A set of external stairs lead from the external entrance to the kitchen up to a pathway behind the house.
19 steps lead from the hall up to the first floor. On the left is a small double bedroom with a built-in wardrobe & window with sea view. It has a private bathroom on the opposite side of the hall with a shower and small window. On the right, a few steps further, lie two more double bedrooms. The first has parquet floors and antique wooden furniture, a dresser, chairs, a small wooden table & a large double bed with bed board. Its has a marble, ensuite bath facilities with shower stall & mirror. A set of French doors provides access out onto two small terraces.
The elegant master bedroom boasts a large double bed, built-in wardrobe, small table with lamp and large mirror. A set of French doors lead out onto a balcony with sea views overlooking the Mediterranean & Marina Piccola Bay. The master bedroom has an ensuite marble bath with bathtub & small French door leading onto the terrace.
A large outdoor patio, an intimate & shaded corner of the terrace, built along the rocky slope enjoying built-in benches for extra seating & a large round marble and wood dining table with cast iron chairs for 12 guest. The terrace, paved with terracotta tiles, has several large comfortable sun lounge chairs with cushions & built-in seating all around. A small patio, accessible from the lounge, is furnished with 4 bamboo armchairs & a small sofa & table.
19 steps down from the front entrance to the villa lay the dependence, which can sleep 2-3 people. The dependànce is an apartment, in the same white washed style as the villa, boasting marble floors & marble bathrooms.
The entrance leads into a living and dining area with kitchen. The living area has a sofa & armchair and the dining area has a large table with 4 chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped. On the left side of the living room lays a bedroom with French bed, open wardrobe & door leading out onto the terrace. The bedroom has a bathroom with an open shower. The second bedroom has a double bed & French doors. Large bathroom with bathtub, large mirror and washing machine.
There is also a small staff unit.
This property can only be reached by foot.
