A beautifully 1200 sq. feet converted loft in the rafters of a 17th Century former Priory in the centre of historic Bayeux. Recently converted (2007) and full of character, this 2 bedroomed apartment has bed space for 4 guests, with an additional 2 on a futon as required. All modern facilities including ramp and elevator access to the apartment for guests. Only 300 yards from the Bayeux Tapestry, and in the centre of the D-Day beaches area, this is the perfect location to explore, absorb Normandy history, or simply relax in a comfortable, historic and homely atmosphere.
The owners, David and Aurelie, can provide a wider service than just accomodation if required. Aurelie is a French speaker, and is fluent in English after living in Canada for 7 years. A native of Normandy, she is a qualified regional guide and has given D-Day tours to many hundreds of customers over the recent years. David, English by birth, still serves in the Royal Navy and recently completed his Masters Degree looking at the naval contribution to the invasion. D-Day beaches tours, or wider regional tours (Mont St-Michel for example) can be readily arranged as required, just ask when booking.

The prices above include all the facilities for up to 4 adults. (20 Euros per extra person per night unless booking a week or more).
40 % Deposit is required to hold reservation. Full refund will be given if booking is cancelled more than 30 days in advance. Within 30 days, the reservation deposit will be forfeited unless the loft is able to be re-rented for the same period.
Arrival and departure times to suit all guests as convenient.
