Our guesthouse is located between the villages of Medanales and Abiquiu on a mesa (appr. 6000 feet above sea level). Very peaceful and quiet setting with spectacular panoramic views. It's a perfect place to relax and get away from every day busy life.
Our comfortable guesthouse offers 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. The masterbedroom has a king size bed and its own bath. In the second and third bedroom there are two twin beds each. Living room with wood fire place and fully equipped eat-in kitchen. Washer/Dryer. Linens are provided. WiFi access. To enjoy the outdoor there is a beautiful stone portal (porch) with pic-nic table, firepit and wood benches to dream away around a romantic campfire.
Bring your horses too. We can accomodate up to 6. There is great back country trailriding.
On site we have a red clay tenniscourt and are happy to teach the game on all levels (beginners, intermediate, advanced).
Hiking in Santa Fe and Carson National Forest as well as fishing and swimming in Lake Abiquiu.
In the winter you can find some of the finest skiing/boarding in the southwestern Rockies (SantaFe-Pajarito-Taos). Please contact us directly for more information about our ski packages.
Many beautiful day excursions: Ghost Ranch, home of famous painter Georgia O'Keeffe, the hot springs of Ojo Caliente and Jemez Springs. Visit Valles Caldera, Bandelier National Monument. Drive north to Chama and take a ride with scenic Toltec Railrod. Enjoy the high road to Taos, and, of course Santa Fe with its many museums, shops and cultural activities is just a 45 miles drive away.
