Located on the white stuccoed Randolph Crescent, the apartment offers direct access to one of London’s largest private and, arguably, best communal gardens. Crescent Gardens were originally built in 1865 as the Bishop of London’s Duck Ponds. As well as being multi award winning this space is accessible only to residents who gather there for wonderful communal bonfires (November 5) and erect two huge Christmas trees to celebrate the festive period. Overall, the garden offers unparalleled beauty and tranquillity in this central London location.
The apartment is centrally located in the exclusive enclave of “Little Venice” – so called because of the canal (still operating) that runs through the neighbourhood. Transport connections are excellent, Warwick Avenue tube station is a 3-5 minute walk. The journey time from there to Theatre Land or Oxford Street is less than 10 minutes. The “Heathrow Express”, the fastest link (15 mins) from London’s main airport terminates at Paddington, which is a 5 minute tube or taxi ride away from the Garden Flat.
In addition to the advantages of the communal garden, the Garden Flat offers flexible accommodation for parties of up to seven people. The Master Bedroom is light and spacious with a 160cm sized bed. Next door is a full bathroom with tub, integrated power shower and WC. Washing and drying machines are also available in this area to enable guests to keep on top of their laundry.
A second bedroom is light benefiting from facing the communal garden. This room has a standard double bed and ample storage space. Adjacent is a marble “wet room” with power shower, basin and WC. The unit has a third “study” bedroom which includes a single bed designed for everyday use. In addition, there is a double sofa bed in the living room
The living-room provides direct access to the communal garden via a private patio – the perfect place to enjoy an evening drink or even a barbecue in the summer months. A fully equipped open plan kitchen and dining area, flat screen TV, wireless broadband internet making this the perfect room for your party to gather together after a long day of sight-seeing. In addition the cosy sofa in this area can be magicked into a double bed, providing yet more sleeping options in this versatile unit.
