Beautiful is the best way to describe Elk Springs Resort. The cabin was lovely, the scenery was gorgeous! We were a little concerned about what the property would be like after driving by some others, but Elk Springs was indeed the best we saw! We will be planning on returning again! WE have already recommended it to friends for their family reunion!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin, it was a wonderful time and we would love to come back. We were a little disappointed at the cleanliness of the cabin - there were numerous dishes and bowls that were dirty, and there were a few lightbulbs out throughout the cabin. Also, it was frustrating that the office was not staffed when we arrived, and housekeeping was difficult to get a hold of. Plan on housekeeping to get back to you a day later.Overall, we had a great time and would love to come back to the resort - all of the cabins are beautiful and are well worth spending your time there.

I really enjoyed my stay at a Desire Fulfilled in the Elk Springs Resort. Everything was very clean and in great condition. The only thing that wasn't perfect was the lack of a view. Our view was just the forest but it was still nice.

I am extremely picky about where I stay and I can be very uncomfortable if things are not spotless. I must say when we walked into our cabin I was VERY proud to say that this was MY idea. I didn't even bring groceries because I normally can not eat in a rental if things are not perfect. I must say because we arrived so late on Friday night, I got up very early and went to the grocery store so that I could make a mountain breakfast for everyone....

We enjoyed our stay. I think it could be improved by: having mattress pads, pillow covers, and pillow cases that fit the pillows. We did have several bugs in the cabin including spiders, worms, and beetles. Also the water in the master bath sink really didn't drain well. The pans were in very poor condition. My children's feet were always black after walking barefoot throughout the house, so I think the floors could be cleaned more often.Otherwise the cabin was very nice and the setting was gorgeous. We did not notify the management, because after all this is a vacation rental.

The electronic lock died and we were locked out. The fireplaces didn't work on auto and the jacuzzi was broke not to mention the master toilet was not secured to the ground.

This was our first "family" vacation. The boys 9 & 12 had a blast. Did a lot of tourist stuff and the cabin was perfect. We were all very excited to see bear prints in the mud outside the cabin...I guess you could say excited, maybe nervous is a good word too. Never did see the bear but the cabin next to us got the pleasure.

Have had many stays in Gatlinbury , this is by far the nicest cabin rentail I have ever stayed in. Beutiful,clean and all around super nice. Have told all my friends and family if you go to Gatlinburg you have to stay at Elk Springs

Our stay was everything we hoped it would be. The cabin and location were beautiful! The only suggestion we would make would be to find a better way to store trash. The bears on the porch getting into the trash was a bit too close to nature for us.

This was our 3rd visit to Elk Springs Resort within 6 months. We love it there! The cabins are brand new and are very modern. The cabin we stayed in this time, A Desire Fulfilled, was breathtaking with its floor to ceiling 2-story windows. The staff, especially Andy, is always very friendly and helpful. We can't wait to go back! The only negative was that the outlets in both bathrooms didn't work. Being a newer resort, we understand that they are still trying to get all the little kinks worked out. Overall, a wonderful place to stay!

Overall the cabin was very nice. It had games my kids could play and was upkept and clean. My only complaint was that I did not use the 18ft shower because it had a fowl odor that seemed to be coming from the drain.

Upon arrival we found the cabin in wonderful condition it was very clean, things were in order and the cabin was very well kept. The location was perfect and the cabin it's self and the view were just beautiful. The cabin was just as nice as the pictures on the internet made it out to be. We had a wonderful weekend that I would gladly repeat. I would stay here or at any other of Elk springs cabins. The only thing that was frustrating was the help at the check in office. It was a young man, he was a nice young man and friendly but gave very poor directions on how to get up to the cabin. But after we found it, our weekend was great!

First of all let me say that the property is in a great setting and absolutely gorgeous online and in person.But the service from the management company is horrid.I will start with the check in process. I received a phone message from a receptionist 2 hours prior to check in time telling me to call back to receive a door code. I was given 2 numbers to call back. I left 2 messages on one of the numbers and the others mailbox was full.Two hours later and repeated calls to these numbers I finally raised a young man who told me that the flu had caused someone to miss work and obtained a key code. Once arriving at the cabin we found that out of 8 remote controls only 1 had batteries installed. The XBox 360 is nice but bring your own games and batteries for these controllers as well.We did try to call the maintenance number (the one with the full mailbox) to tell them of these issues but could not leave a message. Stopped by the check in office three times during the week during posted hours and never found it open. Like I stated earlier these are very nice cabins. Just remember buyer beware when it comes to service.

By chance we found Elk Springs Resort online and we are so glad we did! We have stayed there 2 times in 6 months and were very satisfied with each cabin. Every cabin is amazing and fully loaded with all and more than you would expect. The location is perfect. Reservation and on site staff are always very nice. The cabins are CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN! We will continue to be returning guests at Elk Springs Resort.

The cabin was amazing. The pictures made it look spacious and roomy, but it was perfect and cozy for 2-4 people. The kitchen amenities were just like home, along with the laundry machines downstairs.
