Resort: 460 m. >>Small, cosy, quiet mountain village and holiday centre, situated at the foot of a mountain, 120 km from Krak=w. 80 km from O?wi?cim. 130 km from Zakopane. In the resort: shops, post office, bank, restaurant, bar. Access: bus service. For arrivals by plane: airport Krak=w (KRK) 120 km. Along the river there is a railway line leading to the crossing-point in Zwardon at the Slovak border and further to Bratislava. The line was constructed in 1885 to connect Warsaw with Vienna. On the left bank of Sola an old road "cesarska" survived. The road leads to Morawy. The origin of the village dates back to the 15th century. Milowka is in a border zone: 12 km to road and railway crossing-point to Slovakia in Zwardon, 15 km to road crossing-point to the Czech Republic in Jasnowice.
