Access the Atlantic Ocean in minutes via the Boynton Beach Inlet.If you're arriving by plane, Palm Beach International Airport is a brief 15 minute drive...or, opt for the slightly longer, but oh-so-worth-it scenic route along beautiful A1A and the stunning South Palm Beach oceanfront coastline. Visit our quaint downtown, where you can relax and enjoy dockside dining along the intracoastal. And don't forget the beach...less than five minutes by car, less than 15 by bike! Within a twenty minute drive are loads of other activites. To the north, there's downtown West Palm Beach and Cityplace, an outdoor shopping and dining area designed in the style of old-world architecture, centered around a palladium and beautiful large fountains where live musical performances are hosted. Fantastic shopping, sidewalk cafes, great dining, wine and martini bars, The Improv Comedy Club, a 20-screen stadium-seat movie theatre, and The Harriet for the classical and jazz music enthusiast are also available. To the south is Delray Beach and Atlantic Avenue. Go at night and window-shop, enjoy a fantastic dinner and stroll down the avenue in search of live music. These are just some of the amenities the Palm Beach County area offers. In addition there's fishing, diving, snorkeling, golf (we're referred to as the "golf capital of the world), tennis, museums, opera, theatre, water sports, the zoo, etc. And our little cottage is in the center of it all! We're located in a small, private intracoastal neighborhood with direct ocean access across the waterway. Enjoy a peaceful stroll down our sailboat-lined streets. Let the sun warm you while balmy breezes blow at your back and seagulls circle overhead. Drift off in complete relaxation to the sounds of the gentle roll of waves from the wake of a passing boat, palm fronds dragging lazily across the bright white tiled roof and the buzz of a plane pulling a banner for frozen drinks at the Banana Boat. In the evening, open up the doors leading to the patio, dim the lights and let the salty breeze drift in while you enjoy very private, candlelit al fresco dining! Our home features its own dock with a 15' wide slip, a completely fenced yard and a 2-car garage. The cottage-style kitchen was updated in 2005 with granite tile countertops, beaded board backsplash, a deep, black composite sink with new hardware, new flat-top stove and microwave. The master bath was also updated in 2005 with beaded board walls, off-set ceramic tile, and a new sink set in a faux-finished potting bench. Second bath and the rest of the house were recently updated, as well, including wood floors in both bedrooms and ceramic tile throughout the remainder of the house. The master bedroom is furnished with a king bed and the second bedroom has two twins. All other furnishings, linens, glassware, dishes, silverware, tv, stereo, coffee pot, toaster, etc. are provided for your convenience, in addition to a few must-haves for the beach...beach towels,beach chairs, beach pails and shovels!
