This charming, beautifully decorated apartment, is owned by a Scottish Italian family who take great pride in making it a warm home from home for their guests - supremely good value and a perfect choice for visitors to Rome. Enjoy all the space, comfort and freedom of staying in a home and don’t worry about getting around Rome, the underground station and many bus stops are right at your doorstep. Well linked to Ciampino and Fiumicino airports. On street parking and garages nearby for those of you who plan to hire a car.

The apartment is located in one of the best connected areas of Rome, Appio-San Giovanni, close to the Old Appian Way archeological site with its ruins and catacombs. In fact, one of the main assets of the property is that it is right at an A-line Metro stop (Colli Albani). The A-line Metro was built to connect all the main tourist attractions, from the Old Appian Way to the Vatican so our apartment combines the advantages of a convenient price with easy access to the historical centre. All the major sights can be reached in a few minutes. Buses also widely available. Supermarket opposite and a great mix of shops, banks, internet cafés, restaurants, pubs, pizzerias all in close proximity.
You will enjoy walking around the adjacent Via Appia Nuova (one of Rome's best shopping areas), the Caffarella Park and the nearby outside fruit and vegetable market. Anything you need is close at hand.

The apartment (60 sqm/646 sqft), fitted with air conditioninig, a reinforced door and double-glazed windows, is on 6th floor with lift. It features 1 bedroom with king-size bed, 1 fold up bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers; living/dining room with two settees (one of which a comfortable queen size bed settee), bookcase, table and chairs, LCD flat screen TV, SAT, DVD, stereo radio/CD player; fully equipped live-in kitchen with gas cooker, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, kettle; bathroom with bath/shower over, toilet, bidet and washbasin; hall with extra wardrobe; balcony with sun blinds, table and chairs. Amenities also include vacuum cleaner, hair dryer,iron and ironing board, clothes drying rack and baby cot.

Please note that the rates in the table above apply to 2 guests. Each additional guest pays an extra 15 euros per night and 75 euros per week.

Bookings can start on any day. Short stays possible from 3 days.
25% deposit to be paid on booking (Paypal welcome). This is not refundable, but in case of cancellation at least three weeks before arrival date we can issue a coupon to be used at a future date.
Breakage deposit to be paid on arrival, refundable on departure once property has been checked, less cost of any damage.
Rental rates depend on the number of persons.
Rental rates include electricity (in winter), gas, heating, bed linen, towels and final cleaning. Changeover cleaning only. In summer, when air conditioning is used, electricity is charged on consumption: 0.30 euros/kWh.Discounts depending upon length of stay.

Check in: 2 - 6 p.m. Check out: 8 - 11 a.m. These are standard times, but we try to be flexible.

Secure building that made us feel very safe and the owner was wonderful to work with. She had information about the area and how to get to all the sight-seeing places. This lovely apartment is conveniently located along the metro A line so it is only a 15 minutes ride to all of Rome's fascinating attractions. The owner definitely takes pride in the beautiful home as it is impeccably clean and provided information on transportation, attractions, and dining upon arrival. Great bakery, butcher, and grocery store within two minutes walking distance. This was one of the most relaxing trips we have ever enjoyed because of the comforts of the apartment - the balcony is a great place to reflect on the days events. Laura F.,UK
